College students were asked to receive the International Affective Picture System(IAPS) test and questioned to complete the self-report checklist of Executive Function Deficits Inventory and Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire. As the result of analysis, first, pleasure had positive correlation with adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Whereas, arousal and dominance had negative correlation with adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Second, executive function deficit had negative correlation with adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Third, hierarchial regression analysis was conducted based on predictor variables for stepwise regression and dominance of emotion stimuli had an effect on adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies, partially mediating by executive function deficit.
